Between Richmond and Waverly, there are no fast food restaurants or pull-off spaces, so travelers will have had few choices. The spot sits between the Town Museum and additional museum parking. Although there are two fast food restaurants in Waverly, the next food is much further down the highway. Tractor-trailer traffic is heavy between Richmond and Virginia Beach ports.
